I have enjoyed using Ubuntu and Firefox. I was worried that I would not be able to make the transition to a new O/S (Operating System) as the ONLY thing I have ever known was Windows &amp; a smattering of DOS. ...and I ASSURE you I am NO computer geek ! I am an end user I don't really want to know how it does what it does , as long as I get what I want out of it. Unbuntu is stable,easy to work with and I have ALL of the things I like ( Google tool bar, weather maps, Finanacial pages, News,skype, etc. all work just like,... no<u><b> way</b></u> better than on Windows.<br />With windows I knew what to expect ...no joke.... freezes, virus, rebooting , and patch after patch, trying to fix a continually broken program.<br /> I have been using Firefox as my browser when I was on Windows. I took an older laptop and dumped windows using the double sided Ubuntu CD I bought and it was the most painless transition I have ever done on a computer. While I am still learning a few things yet I do know I will convert my newer laptop as well to Ubuntu .<br />I am very pleased with Ubuntu. It is an Alpha Delta Ultra Fan Dipole. up between two trees about 30 feet off of the ground . it took 400 feet of rope but it is up.
