The link above changed my cell phone usage. I live in a area of the North Carolina mountains where cell phone coverage is poor. but with the boost from Wilson Cell phone I have 5 bars anywhere I have been ...it is worth EVERY penny.

FREE at last

It has been a week since I dumped Windows. I have enjoyed using Ubuntu and Firefox. I was worried that I would not be able to make the transition to a new O/S (Operating System) as the ONLY thing I have ever known was Windows & a smattering of DOS. ...and I ASSURE you I am NO computer geek ! I am an end user I don't really want to know how it does what it does , as long as I get what I want out of it. Unbuntu is stable,easy to work with and I have ALL of the things I like ( Google tool bar, weather maps, Finanacial pages, News,skype, etc. all work just like,... no way better than on Windows.
With windows I knew what to expect ...no joke.... freezes, virus, rebooting , and patch after patch, trying to fix a continually broken program.
I have been using Firefox as my browser when I was on Windows. I took an older laptop and dumped windows using the double sided Ubuntu CD I bought and it was the most painless transition I have ever done on a computer. While I am still learning a few things yet I do know I will convert my newer laptop as well to Ubuntu .
I am very pleased with Ubuntu. Very happy to be off of Windows
