I got my antenna up 2 weeks ago . It is an Alpha Delta Ultra Fan Dipole. up between two trees about 30 feet off of the ground . it took 400 feet of rope but it is up. I made my FIRST contact that night with a guy in South Carolina.
I also have a vertical antenna on order (back order) and it should be a better antenna for my Icom 746 Pro.
